IRRIS & HARI create music for the stories we carry within us.

The project brings together two distinct musical paths. HARI (Haris Berberian) spent two decades composing for film and television, developing an instinctive relationship between music, image and narrative. IRRIS comes from classical piano, with studies in musicology and a particular interest in the way music shapes perception and emotion.

That meeting lies at the heart of IRRIS & HARI.

Rooted in melody and shaped by a cinematic sensibility, their music unfolds somewhere between neoclassical, contemporary classical and cinematic music — intimate, evocative and deeply emotional.

At the heart of every composition is a theme. A melody with its own identity, written not simply to create an atmosphere, but to carry an emotion, evolve, and tell a story without words.

Piano was the beginning of that language, never its boundary. Strings, orchestral colours, subtle textures and the distinctive voice of IRRIS are gradually expanding their musical world, while melody remains at its centre.

Their connection to film music can still be felt in the way their compositions breathe and unfold — through movement, silence, tension and release. Yet the story is never imposed.
